Cirque du Soleil returns to Australia with CORTEO, its most unique production yet, playing in Sydney from 4–14 September 2025. Directed by Daniele Finzi Pasca (LUZIA), this acclaimed show first premiered in Montreal in 2005 and has since captivated over 12 million people across 30 countries.
CORTEO – meaning “cortege” in Italian – is a festive parade imagined by a clown, blending acrobatics and theatrical flair in a whimsical world between heaven and earth. With stunning visuals, playful music, and a heartfelt narrative, the show explores life, memory, and celebration with humour and beauty.
For the first time in a Cirque arena show, the stage is set in the centre, giving audiences a 360° experience – and a rare glimpse from the performer’s perspective. Grand, poetic, and full of surprises, CORTEO promises an unforgettable night of magic.
